THE SPEDALE DI SAN GIORGIO
The Spedale di San Giorgio, in the municipality of Barberino Val d’Elsa, is a small building with a nave and without apse, mentioned in some documents of the 12th century belonging to the abbey of Coltibuono. It is one of the few pilgrim hospices still to be admired almost undamaged.


THE CHAPEL OF SAN MICHELE ARCANGELO
The Chapel of San Michele Arcangelo, in the municipality of Barberino Val d’Elsa, is an octagonal building standing close to Petrognano and surrounded by cypresses. It was the Medici family who commissioned the chapel. It represents the dome of the cathedral of Florence in scale 1:8.


THE CHURCH OF SAN ROMOLO
The Church of San Romolo, in the municipality of Barberino Val d’Elsa, was built in the 13th century and houses valuable sacred clothes and furnishing, such as a ciborium by one of the Della Robbia dating back to the 16th century.
